If you’re looking to learn a new programming language, Treehouse is a fantastic learning resource and one that I use the most when learning the basics of something new.
Earlier this year, I branched out and started working inside the Mac terminal with projects. I began branching out into Sass, git workflow, jekyll. Before diving into all of those though, I went through their console courses and was given a great overview of how to navigate through a console (Terminal in mac).
Below I assembled the core of what they use and created this command line cheatsheet. This isn’t all encompassing, but it does give you an easy and fast way to look up those functions you don’t know off the top of your head.
If you haven’t ever used treehouse, you can try it free for a month.
